Maralyn is a seasoned social media marketing professional with considerable experience in all forms of digital media. She is passionate about making the evolving digital marketing landscape more accessible to everyone, regardless of age, familiarity, or current comfort level with social media.
Maralyn has led the social media efforts of national Fortune 500 brands including Honda, Acura, Kroger Corporation, and others. Beck has led the local social media emergence while working directly for Albuquerque Public Schools, leading their social media efforts; prior to that, serving as the brand manager for Governor Susana Martinez’ social media properties.
Maralyn has shared her expertise and knowledge with a multitude of professional organizations including Discovery Education’s Conference for Chief Academic Officers, the New Mexico chapter of the American Marketing Association, the New Mexico Department of Health’s annual Head2Toe conference, the New Mexico Hospitality Showcase, Albuquerque’s chapter of FemCity, and many more.
She was worked alongside the Albuquerque Police Department, Attorney General’s office, the FBI, and Crimes Against Children’s Unit in working to address, protect and educate the greater community on digital citizenship and social media.
